Lorenzo is a student at Winston Churchill High School who was introduced to the picturesque Osa Peninsula through a service trip at the BioSur Foundation. After seeing the beauty of the area and learning about the dangers it faces, he decided to use his passion for reading and writing in order to help write and edit grant proposals for BioSur-Lands for Biological Diversity. These grants are essential to the non-for-profit’s ability to acquire tropical rainforest and protect these fragile eco-systems from illegal poaching and logging.
